Description
Set up ten years ago by French artist Tony Pianco, the Life Drawing Society hosts regular classes in all sorts of unusual venues, from pubs and restaurants to libraries, boats, roof terraces, theatres and even churches. Tony studied at the Beaux Arts of Paris and Central Saint Martins. Artists of all levels are welcome. The Society even likes to mix it up a bit when it comes to hiring models – Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford has bared (nearly) all, and the events regularly feature burlesque and stage performers. A vibrant and exciting range of classes will open up new opportunities to make new friends and explore your artisitic capabilities.
This Class has been happening for the last 5 years every Saturday from 1pm bringing New and regular Artists every week who enjoy this Format of class where you can drop in anytime, use our materials at no cost (except paper), draw 2 to 4 models, enjoy Free Drinks and nibbles, use Easels, Natural Daylight, Tables (can be used for A1) and comfy chairs. Our regulars enjoy the fact the class is designed to soothe the mind & spirit after a hard working week, bringing friends back together, but also allow artists to draw when their energy is at is maximum and for longer than other classes. This means simply better drawings/paintings.
