Description

We are delighted to be working with Chocolate Films to bring you three programmes of shorts that combine docs from 1000 Londoners with archive films that reflect similar themes. The programme is part of the BFI Britain on Film season and as you can see we are in excellent independent cinema company from across London. Each evening will be 60mins in length with a Q&A with filmmaker and/or contributors.

1000 Londoners: Night Crawlers
A look at the people who live their lives by night. Alongside archive films we'll show films including Tim (Save Soho campaigner), Victoria (transgender cabaret artiste), Dugs (jungle DJ) and Josh (award-winning male escort).

1000 Londoners: Fight Club
Archive films about London's history of boxing and wrestling screened with films including Yan Zi (34th generation Shaolin Monk), John (Polish cage-fighter) and Ryan (champion of video game Streetfighter).

1000 Londoners: Easy Riders
A look at cycling and motorcycling in London now and in the past with films including Isabelle (wheelchair cycling campaigner), Dick (Triumph motorcycle customiser), Joel (trials cyclist) and Charlotte (cyclists rights campaigner).

Ffully licensed bar will also be available.

The venue is not level access but ramps are available for those using wheelchairs.

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

    The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.   • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

    If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?
