This summer Dummy re-booted with a brand new site, and while it wasn't purely so we'd have an excuse to throw a party, we can't pretend we're not hugely excited to announce that we're marking the occasion with a two-day event this September. We don't like to blow our own trumpets too much though, so we've invited some of our absolute favourite pop pioneers to do it for us, including phenomenal Warp trio Darkstar and San Francisco-based producer oOoOO.
On Saturday we'll be up 'til 4am with Darkstar, free-wheeling West Londoner Only Real, our current dance obsession Tirzah (with pal Micachu on DJ duty), masked man Brolin, NTS DJ Nadia Ksaiba, psychedelic DFA signee Larry Gus and floor-filling producers Kirk Spencer and Cadenza.
For our more laid-back Sunday event, we're thrilled to announce a day full of synth-washed futuristic pop from the likes of oOoOO, comic book-making crooner Amateur Best, conceptual artist CFCF (with a wide-reaching DJ set), visionary producer patten, and icy electronic trio Eaux. Not to mention, we'll be featuring early live sets from three of the most exciting pop projects to emerge in the last few months: Rainer, Butterclock and Woman's Hour.
Food on both days will be provided by Tommi's Burger Joint and Thank Cluck. Plus - in case this is a deciding factor for you - there will be beer.
Tickets for Saturday 28th September (5pm - 4am) will set you back £10, Sunday tickets (3pm - 11pm) are £8, and a ticket for the whole weekender is £15.
