We are very pleased to announce that we will once again be holding a term of our popular life drawing classes at The Square Gallery, beginning on Monday February 20th, taking place every Monday evening between 7 and 9pm.
Classes are to be hosted by Morgane Wagner and Corie Denby McGowan, and will begin with a warm up of drawing games before moving the focus on to our life model for the evening.
Taking inspiration from the likes of Van Gogh and Toulouse-Lautrec, these will be ‘Drink ‘n’ Draw’ sessions; we will provide several beverages, with participants receiving a drink on arrival, thereafter making a donation per glass. For those of us less inclined toward Bacchic inspiration for the benefit of our artistic production, there will also be a non-alcoholic option.
Tickets can be bought online here and are priced at £15 for adults and £12 for students. Places are limited so we recommend booking soon.
Participants are advised to bring their own materials; however, for an extra cost we can provide pencils, charcoal and paper.
If the strenuous concentration required of a life drawing class makes you hungry, then you’ll be pleased to know that attendees are entitled to 25% off the food bill at the Queenswood restaurant over the road in Battersea Square.
