From some old music by Bach to some brand new music by Rūta Vitkauskaitė. Jude Carlton (our timpani player and percussionist) has put together this concert with Rosanna Ter-Berg (flute), Hannah Morgan (clarinet) and Matt Maguire (viola).
We’ve probably all heard Bach’s music at some point, but this eclectic ensemble (including at least two instruments we’re sure Bach would have loved if only he’d ever heard them!) will cast it in a fresh light. We have no idea what Ruta will create for the ensemble yet – but having heard her other music (check out her accordion piece ‘For Many Thousands’!) we know it will be fresh and beautiful. See you there!
Bold Tendencies is a not-for-profit creative enterprise and arts organisation that has been based in Peckham, South East London, since 2007 and is located on the disused top four floors of the municipal car park. This performance will take place on the lower covered floors of the site, immediately below the rooftop. On arrival please go to the top floor kiosk where staff will check your ticket and direct you to the performance.
Access to Bold Tendencies by foot: The car park is a short walk from Peckham Rye station. Turn left down Rye Lane (towards McDonalds), cross the road at the pedestrian crossing. Santander will then be on your right hand side and you should be facing the Multiplex cinema.
