2019 is rapidly coming to a close. And what a year it’s been!
Earlier in March, Billetto stepped into our organisers’ shoes and put together an event of our own. Jadada Festival celebrated diversity, entertaining a crowd of over 1000 people with captivating performances and delicious street food.
With this experience under our belts and feedback from you, we’ve redesigned and optimised the platform, adding many new features.
Let’s take a look at the major releases of 2019.
Ticket buyer features
No time to log in or create an account? You can now buy tickets without logging in. Simply insert your email twice to receive your tickets. If you’re new, we’ll automatically create an account. This way, you’ll always have access to your tickets.
More ways to pay
Buying a ticket should be a smooth and pain-free experience. With that in mind, we’ve launched a host of new payment methods:
- Apple Pay & Google Pay (All markets)
- Swish (Sweden)
- Vipps (Norway)
- PayPal (UK)
- Klarna (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and the UK)
Streamlined payment page
In addition to a new, clean look, the payment page now remembers your preferred payment methods and displays these first. Just click to buy.
Better public profiles
We want everyone’s public profiles on Billetto to always look their best. Based on your feedback—and to extend our dark theme—we’ve given the organiser profile pages a major redesign.
The stunning new profile page lets you showcase your events more effectively and build your brand.
Ping! Did you see that? Someone has just bought a ticket to your event. Thanks to the new notifications feature, you can get real-time alerts when:
- Someone buys a ticket
- Someone follows your profile
- Your event is sold out
- …and more
Improved “My events” section
We’ve overhauled the “My Events” section in the dashboard. It is now:
- More straightforward to use
- Set to display combined sales info for all events
- Optimised with better search and filtering options
Updated “Sales Overview” report
Similarly, the “Sales Overview” report has been greatly simplified. It’s more concise and easier to understand. We’ve also added breakdowns with visual graphs for “Payment types” and “Ticket types”.
More transaction reports
In addition to the existing weekly report, you can now choose to get email updates every day or only see a monthly summary.
Not everyone has the need for every available Billetto feature. We’ve added a number of pricing tiers to help organisers pick the plan that best suits their needs.
Expanded event categories
No more placing events under “Other” because there isn’t a more fitting category. With the new “Event Type” and “Category” dimensions, you can be very specific about the topic and format of your event. This also helps potential guests discover your events.
We’ve made it a whole lot easier for organisers to use our campaigns feature. It’s never been easier to create group discounts, early birds, and unlockable tickets. Thanks to six predefined templates, setting up a campaign is now a quick, three-step process.
We’ve added the option to use your Google account to sign up and log in.
Streamlined mobile web experience
You can now view, edit, and manage your events using just a smartphone. All you need is a browser and an Internet connection.
Want to sell tickets with reserved seats? It’s now possible to create your own seating plans using our interactive tool. Take a look at how you can do that right here.
Get ready for 2020
